Art is not a choice - it is a mission.... The passion to create can be a powerful tool to make a difference. Goya chose to paint revolutions, I choose to paint to help animals. When ever possible I will paint actual homeless pets in city and private animal shelters and rescues. When I walk the halls of the Animal Shelter the eyes behind the barss plead. Most look with eager curiosity and some wish to play. Others no longer make eye contact and have withdrawn into themselves- hope fading dim. Maybe - just maybe - there is a chance for a fairy tale ending for a deserving pet that nobody else seems to notice. A pet who has begun to lose hope.
